The ESCMID Global Congress<\/span><\/span> in Munich<\/span><\/span> is one of the key global events for clinical microbiology and infectious diseases. It’s a space where companies need to communicate complex, technical content to a highly specialised audience – quickly, clearly and without distractions.<\/p>

At the same time, the environment is extremely demanding: tight build-up schedules, limited rigging windows, and constant pressure from parallel installations across the venue.<\/p>

A spherical LED screen<\/strong> sounds impressive on paper. In reality, it\u2019s one of the more demanding formats to execute properly.<\/p>

Content has to be adapted. Pixel mapping needs to be precise. Viewing angles are unpredictable. And everything becomes very visible when something is off.<\/p>

In this project, it was a working content surface that needed to perform consistently throughout the event.<\/p>

The result was simple – a form that naturally draws attention, without relying on overcomplicated messaging.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Here, the challenge was not just scale, but geometry. The installation included a suspended LED ceiling mounted at an angle, which required precise rigging, load calculations and alignment on-site.<\/p>

There is very little margin for error in this kind of setup. Any inconsistency becomes immediately visible.<\/p>

Instead of treating LED as decoration, the entire structure was designed and executed as a single system – visually consistent and technically stable.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Silent Disco system - solving a real problem<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Trade shows are loud by default – multiple presentations, overlapping audio, constant background noise. In this kind of environment, even well-prepared content simply gets lost.<\/p>

Instead of competing for attention with louder and louder sound systems, we implemented a dedicated Silent Disco setup based on 20 synchronized wireless headsets<\/strong>.<\/p>

Each unit receives audio directly from a transmitter connected to the content source, eliminating any dependency on the surrounding acoustic conditions. No delay, no echo, no interference from neighboring booths.<\/p>

From a technical perspective, this means full control over the listening experience. From a user perspective, it means clarity.<\/p>

Visitors can focus on the content without distractions, switch between channels if needed, and engage with presentations at their own pace – even in the middle of a busy exhibition hall.<\/p>

This is not about adding another layer of technology. It\u2019s about removing a real limitation that affects almost every trade show presentation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Lighting - precision that actually makes a difference<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Lighting is one of the most underestimated elements on a trade show booth. Too often it\u2019s either flat and functional or overloaded with random effects that distract more than they help.<\/p>

Here, lighting was designed as a controlled layer that works together with the LED content – not against it.<\/p>

We used 10 pcs of Martin MAC Quantum Profile<\/strong> fixtures, which give a level of precision that standard exhibition lighting simply cannot match.<\/p>

Each fixture allows for accurate beam shaping, sharp projections and dynamic positioning, which means we can highlight specific areas of the booth<\/strong>, direct attention exactly where it\u2019s needed, and adapt the scene in real time.<\/p>

This becomes especially important with complex LED structures. Without proper lighting control, even the best content can lose depth and contrast in a bright exhibition hall.<\/p>

With this setup, we were able to balance brightness, enhance visibility, and maintain consistency across the entire stand – regardless of changing ambient conditions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
